  1. I think Parsing is great for two reasons: one, it can give you a goal to work toward esp in farm content and two, it shows how u compare to other players of the same spec. U may be bottom of the meters as a ret paladin or arms warr, but if youre parsing 99s then you can still be happy at your performance. On the flipside, people who refuse to invite u or even give you a chance in a group based entirely on your parses is not healthy either, esp early game. No luck with a weapon? Your guild kills slow? Welp now u got junk parses that make u look worse than u are. All in all, parsing is good, its a good metric. BUT IT IS NOT EVERYTHING. Thankfully i think there are enough players out there with enough skill levels that you will eventually land with a group of like minded peeps and have fun doing whatever u do. U can parse grey and still kill the boss. Just remember that 😂
