He pointed out to her that trans people are under attack and she said “ Hey Mike you’re a guy who has no clue about what it’s like to have your reproductive freedom being taken away, it’s not inclusive language because cia women hate it. He pointed out that her comments were being applauded by anti trans right wingers and she said it was lazy and lame to accuse her of guilt by association. Her tone seemed dismissive and rude with no mention of his concern that trans people are being attacked so why pile on complaining about the language. And yes some cis women don’t like it but many have no problem with it.

And when people like Kari Lake and the libsoftiktok lady are agreeing with you and retweeting you and using your comments to bolster their position I think it’s a valid point. And a man who is concerned for trans people has the right to chime in. I do run sensitive, esp on other peoples behalf and get your points.

  21. Progressives have to understand at some point that homelessness isn’t just a matter of real estate. They always sound offended by the idea that homeless people have mental illnesses and addictions. It’s a huge problem and it has to be acknowledged before it can be solved.

  23.  @waterandafter  his idea was to let people live with their families and go to day care facilities but he didn’t realize that a lot of people didn’t have families that could take them in. Kennedy’s plan was to replace large institutions with smaller better facilities, closed the “ snake pits” but didn’t follow through with the replacements

Or they say those issues are used to vilify homeless people, it’s just factual and they need help and aren’t getting any. Denying the underlying problems doesn’t help them at all.

  38.  @voidroad  people often panhandle for a few dollars at a time to buy a pack of cigarettes, up of coffee, bottle of beer. I’ve lived in SF for decades. Limbaugh also used to claim that people made a fortune, right wingers would tell people not to give spare change to a panhandler, try to make them think it was a racket. What Walsh said is ridiculous.

The amount of death from that war is staggering, most people usually mention the total amount not just Americans, I like to remind people that there were 1000 times as many US casualties as in Benghazi as people who remain outraged over that incident rarely mention Iraq which is pretty outrageous and partisan.

She had criticized Israel for 5 months on that channel even interviewing N Finkelstein. Emma constantly says she was fired over Israel. It’s lame, Owens talked about sinister rings of US Jews controlling the US, making her a free speech martyr is dishonest.
