  1. Sey talks about the problems caused by the lockdowns incessantly but never mentions the million Americans who died in two years…kind of odd to ignore the reason for the response isn’t it?

  2.  @John8Overfiend  as I said people like Sey complain about the lockdowns, school closings etc while ignoring the reason for it. I think the govt made a lot of mistakes but also see that it was an unprecedented situation. And many people who were angry and fought all precautions didn’t believe anyone was actually dying, they said it was just some old people with health issues who happened to die with not from it. That wasn’t true. Trump supporters were angry about the lockdowns but never criticized Trump’s role in it. A million people died in two years with the lockdowns, Trump himself said without them millions more would have died. Seems like some of the precautions were based on panic and fear. And you know that a lot of people were sure that it was all a stunt designed to prevent Trump from winning re-election and that social distancing and mask wearing was a form of govt control. Conspiracy theorists may have Ben right about some things but the discourse was so paranoid and disgusting , the rest of us were dealing with losing people and trying to get by while people were having a field day with their conspiracies and denial.
