You’re not required to read work emails on the weekend unless it’s understood that’s part of the job. Sending that email out on a Friday and telling people they’ll be fired if they don’t respond by Monday is insane. Give people a week, send it on Monday and demand it by Wed, Thurs or Friday.

@ no one brings their kids to events like the one at the Oval Office, it’s distracting and unprofessional. If a woman say Kelly Ann Conway had done that people would have freaked out and said she needed to quit to stay home with her kids. He uses the kid in a weird way, did you see the video of him leaving the kid alone on the stairs as people yelled to him “ you’re leaving your kid” ? Who does that with a toddler?

@ if they were given a week and a follow up way of communicating say by text to check their email that would be more effective, it came off as a cute stunt, the richest man mocking and playing with people and their livelihood is pretty gross.

@ It was a bad idea, Musk is not the most qualified to do what he’s doing. What about cutting the consumer fraud protection agency? It’s helped lots of people and it’s very important. They accidentally cut the Ebola folk, had to hire them back, and the nuclear weapon gang. Oopsie!
