@Trustme77 I have the example of him being partisan in favor of the right, you asked what’s right wing about him, sitting with Tucker C trashing “ the left” is a right wing stance. He like Pool has criticized people for not respecting Candace Owens, a right wing grifter and ridiculously unserious person. You mentioned Carlson’s foreign policy views, he recently fear mongered telling people that urinals are being removed from school bathrooms to feminize boys…he convinced people, his fans say he’s right that without a urinal a boy has to sit to pee. He lied grotesquely about Jan 6th, said it was just a bunch of sight seeing grandmothers, and Greenwald gives him credibility.

But it tends to be Trump supporters and right wingers who chose to minimize the event, D’Souza called it a boisterous walkthrough, Candace Owens “ a few people taking selfies” Carlson “ sightseeing grandmas” right wingers with huge platforms keep lying about it. Greenwald who seems to be more comfortable with those people agrees with them. I rarely see right wingers admitting that it was even a riot. And it technically was an insurrection because it’s intention was to stop election proceedings. Destiny did a good job explaining how there was a coupe, no one on the right who constantly says the election was stolen ever talks about the fake electors. If a dem did that there would be calls for treason. Greenwald also gives Trump slack saying he really thought it was stolen, as D pointed out that there has been evidence shown that Trump knew he lost. He started everything by saying he could only lose if there was fraud, said it in 2016 too. That’s a horrible lie to tell your rabid supporters. Greenwald also excuses the Ga phone call in which Trump asked for enough votes to win to be “ found” I was stunned when he said that it was fine because Trump believed he really won the state.

You asked why I trust the videos showed by the committee? I saw lots of videos of that day before the hearings, it was on the news in real time so hearing all the right wing influencers minimize it by showing as they keep doing footage of people lined up peacefully inside while pretending there weren’t people breaking in and beating cops outside. It’s mass delusion.

Mask wearing would be more comparable to seat belts, no need to give up cars but observe a safety precaution. And schools reopened, the shut down was temporary because of a global pandemic, not quite the same as an everyday experience such as driving. It would be interesting to see the reaction if the govt had taken the stance of letting people die instead of inconveniencing people or hurting businesses.

@ Weiss knew people don’t like Gabbard so she criticized her not knowing exactly why. I know why I feel the way I do about Greenwald and the people I mentioned. He made a video trashing Weiss, fine she deserves it but he gave a respectful softball interview with Alex Jones who has done much worse than what Weiss did
