  1. Years ago I was watching DP’s debunking astrology video with a friend who’s a skeptic. I bet him 20.00 that Pakman is an Aquarius, looked it up, he is. He snarkily referenced newspaper horoscopes as a data point to debunk astrology. Nothing more ignorant than someone who declares that things that he knows nothing about are bunk. If he was open minded and talked to an astrologer chances are he’d learn why people believe in it but he won’t, just arrogantly declares it to be junk. Said the same thing about ghosts and all metaphysical ideas, can’t fathom that there’s a reason people believe theses things, here’s a clue people who have seen ghosts believe they’re real, declaring something bunk because you haven’t experienced it is lame.

  2. LOL when I first saw him calling astrology garbage I sensed that he’s an Aquarius, impressed my skeptical friend when I looked it up and was right.

  3.  @shinebright2898  people who know astrology can often tell what sign people are, not just sun signs. Skeptics say it’s vague, people who have their chart read by a good astrologer learn it’s very specific.

  5.  @JRP3  you know nothing about it but declare it to be a superstition. Brilliant. I’ve been involved with metaphysics since I had psychic experiences as a teen. Not everyone is psychic. People who aren’t can’t relate so they say no one is. That’s pretty arrogant and not logical.

  7.  @JRP3  I didn’t watch the whole video. I’ve heard Pakman dismiss astrology before. And the fact that these two people don’t believe it doesn’t mean they’re right.

  8.  @JRP3  “ they explain” 🤭 Skeptics saying metaphysical things aren’t real isn’t as persuasive to me as it is you. I am psychic, I work in the metaphysical realm so I know they’re wrong. Pakman did a series debunking “ junk science” he doesn’t believe in the afterlife, or esp. Sorry but skeptics are just people who don’t understand things that they have decided aren’t real, not as intellectually genuine as you give them credit for.

  9. there are people who are psychic who have psychic experiences all the time, someone who doesn’t have those experiences tells them they’re nuts for believing psychic ability is real. Who is the more reasonable person in this scenario? I didn’t believe in ghosts until I saw one, if I hadn’t seen one I might have thought they didn’t exist and that people who said they saw them were crazy or lying. Skeptics like Pakman claim to be intellectual but they’re very closed minded.

  11.  @JRRTokeKing  and people who believe in ghosts for example or psychic ability based on their experiences with those things are more likely to be right as opposed to people who haven’t had those experiences who simply don’t believe it because they haven’t experienced it themselves. If Pakman sees a ghost today he will have a different view

  12. Sorry but it’s sad to see someone who’s so closed minded, I used to be a skeptic until I had too many experiences, it’s awfully arrogant to dismiss so many people who have had experiences just because you haven’t.

  14.  @rainkidwell2467  it doesn’t work that way, it’s more nuanced. I just did a little experiment, talking to a friend who like true crime, lots of women do, I suspected that certain placements in a chart might point to it, did her chart and I was right, did a survey in a fb astrology group and got more validation of my theory. It wasn’t scientific but another clue for me that astrology is valid, I am open to it and have reason to believe it but I’m also skeptical in a healthy way.
