Come back in twenty years time and tell us how many election cycles have the Republicans been crushed in ,if they still exist.Try then to reverse the near Ralph Northam " abortion " scenario that the Democrats would have been able to push everywhere as a counter to the attempted ban. Or try Realism and prevent the current excesses within the Abortion framework so that it is limited to a narrow range of indications and only authorized by a multidisciplinary committee and only up to 10-12 weeks with some extreme exceptions. I know that it is a emotive issue and I work in the medical field so I encounter these scenarios. If you are going to attempt an outright ban then the majority of the population will turn against you and you will get exactly the opposite effect , the public will start accepting termination into the Third trimester as the pendulum swings away from those trying to implement a ban.
