Rob Vollat Socialism works well for a while in a homogenous, educated population with a low unemployment level high taxpayer rate as long as the population age demographics pyramid doesn't start to become inverted.Once the taxpayer base shrinks while the unemployment level rises or the number of social welfare dependents increases then the wheels start coming off the Socialist State model.Bring into this equation a policy of accelerated immigration for the sake of 'diversity ' and you end up with the current developments in many Northern European countries, the establishment politicians will ensure that their own state benefits are maintained but not necessarily that of the average middle class citizenry. One way to still keep the Socialist State model going is to clamp down on the unhappy elements of the population, in Europe this is done through 'legal' routes via the 'democratic systems' while in underdeveloped nations it will entail more aggressive non democratic methods resulting in involuntary servitude.
