  2.  @markcarpenter6020 A DNA analysis by a Swiss Genetic Laboratory in Tutankhamun showed that 50 % of all Western European males and up to 70 % of British males are of the same genetic profile group ( Haplogroup R1b1a2 ) while < 1 % of modern day Egyptians have this Haplogroup. There are many other genetic studies on ancient specimens that however show heterogeneity which isn't surprising because of Egypts geographical location. It is at a crossroads of several areas - Middle East, North Africa, Mediterranean, Sub - Saharan Africa.
