This is now about survival of the Constitution as the Left is starting to splinter and move further towards Marxism, if Trump appoints a Centre Left SCOTUS candidate then a Civil war will be the last root to go in trying to salvage the current Constitution. I disagree with you completely on this issue the time for compromise has come and gone as the last 2 years have clearly shown,Trump must appoint at least a Centre Right Justice or even a Full Right wing Justice and the USA must aggresively initiate steps to start removing the Marxist movement otherwise the USA will become a Socialist State within a generation.
