The best response if the embassy guard was worried about an explosive would have been to get everyone away from the burning body but pointing the handgun shows a lack of insight, either way he was going to receive criticism from everyone else because he was actively engaged in the incident from a possible security risk point of view. If he had simply sat back and let the others intervene then he would have been criticised by the embassy for not having engaged with a potential risk to the Embassy.

US Spokesman A " We are aware of incidents of genocide happening in Rwanda." Journalist Q: " So how many incidents of genocide are needed before you call it a genocide?" US Spokesman A : " I can't quantify that question.   6.  @Mark-n5i6t  I was a student in 1980 and I supported the Apartheid regime but by 1990 I had realised that not only was it unsustainable but also Morally bankrupt( It wasnt possible to distinguish between self-determination and oppression anymore as an Afrikaaner colleague of mine put it, it had resulted in exactly that which Verwoerd had warned about.) I voted to end the system through the negotiation route rather than a Civil War. I am not a fan of the ANC, never have been and I knew they were primarily a massive Criminal Cartel being handed an advanced country on a silver platter but I was surprised that it took them so long to drag the country down to its current status. Now just as the NP was eventual thrown into the rubbish dump of history so we are witnessing as the Criminal Cartel is slowly being dumped into the Garbage can where it thoroughly deserves to be and a New Dawn can be commenced in ZA where it can truly be a land for All Who Live in it.
