The Americans started the project. This is documented in a recent Congressional investigation report. It was stopped in the USA and then Collins + Fauci restarted it in the Wuhan Bio-lab funded via Eco-Health Alliance (Dazak ). The next phase of the investigation should be to see if it leaked accidentally or was released purposefully. This is a Bio-weapon and almost certainly a Binary one.

@Braunbaer888 No sounds about right. I have heard the same from my sources and it is on par with what one can expect from Omicron sublineages. Btw - Cautionary warning for the future - the "Antigenic Sin" acheived during the Pharmaceutical enrichment scam the last 2 years will eventually come home to roost the question is when and what CoV lineage.

South Africa had an initially hard Lockdown and then sequentially released the levels over the first 3 waves, when Omicron came along then practically everything went back to normal. South Africa also had 35 % of the population vaccinated but most studies of Antibodies shows over 95 % of the population having Antibodies against SARS-COV -2 of which 3/4 is anti -nucleocapside and anti-spike Ab therefore indicating that recovered Natural Infection and to a much lesser degree hybrid immunity acheived Herd /Population Immunity for SA. Btw - Despite the best attempts of the Government authorities and certain NGO groups to stigmatise the section of the population that chose Bodily Autonomy over Coercion to take Experimental Drug delivery plarforms ,the majority of the vaccinated population refused to jump on board the " Let's discriminate against the unvaccinated " Bandwagon. This might have to do with the History of South Africa were most immediately recognised the signs of a Discriminatory Policy and refused to participate.
