  1. My Father came from a poor family in Porto Portugal and had 5 siblings( 4 brothers and 1 sister) Only 1 died poor all the others were successful in accumulating wealth. My Father was the only non-University graduate ( Blue collar worker-mechanic)and mobilized us into a upper Middle class starus .I now have postgraduate qualifications and I can state I am Wealthy but not Super-Wealthy). My one Uncle became a Bank Manager and even worked for the IMF his sons are all wealthy on their own merit. The other 2 Uncles had their own businesses and died wealthy.Their children all are professionals with good standards of living. My Aunt was a laboratory tech and earned more than her husband. All the successful family members had one characteristic- they worked Hard but the most successful the Banker also worked Smarter. The 2 least succesful members that I know of- My one uncle who died poor and my brother who relies on his wife have 3 things in common- Laziness, envy and blame shifting. Meritocracy can be successful but is often captured by Oligarchs who become greedy and try and remove future competitors from the playing fields. However the solution sure as Hell isn't Marxism or any of its derivatives. It has been an absolute Curse on the majority of Humanity and has been a valuable tool in the hands of the Globalist Oligarchs.
