  1.  @sajfen  The Soviet Union's Walmart stores fortunately never ran out of bread though just ask Senator Sanders, he was there for his honeymoon. Politicians will always promise you rights on anything that is popular and few things are as popular as Education and Healthcare which is why both are favourite punching bags of Politicians and especially those that claim to follow Marxism or one of it's many derivatives. Healthcare is not a ' right ' it is a privilege to have any type of Healthcare service that is the reality of life on planet earth but people abrogate their own responsibility towards their own Health by accepting that these Sociopaths can deliver free Healthcare as a ' right ' forgetting that if you empower them to give you 'rights' then you also empower them to take away ' rights' and history shows multiple examples of this happening to populations that trusted the political establishment to give them 'rights'.

Haag Johnson Midterms are historically a poor showing for the incumbent president's party - the last 2 Democrat presidents performed even worse than this current one during their first midterms : Clinton lost 54 House seats and Obama lost 63 House seats which is possibly a record? I am not entirely sure about that one, but you get the point. Btw :If you are ever in a independent mindset and you look at all this from a distance,unattached to either party then you could almost imagine that it is a Dog and Pony show. But maybe I am just letting my imagination get the best of me.

Healthcare is a business,this is all due to the Consumerist approach to Healthcare and Corporatism.Also if you think that a Single Payer system is going to change this then you are deluded because the majority of Governments are in cahoots with the Corporations around the world to ensure that whatever system is utilised - Single Payer / Multi-Payer / Hybrid models / Public - Private Partnerships etc, they will continue to improve on their profits all the time while the taxpayer base will be squeezed ever more and receive less of value back as time goes by.
