  1. President Biden’s Team wants Ukrainians to win, but in 2024 so he can use it as an election campaign issue. Ukrainian post war cleanup and reconstruction will expose a lot of lingering corruption. This has to happen AFTER the election. Additionally, a large part of President Biden’s Team is willing to trade away part of Crimea or make Crimea demilitarized to get a peace deal from Russia. This is a problematic view but is reflected in a go slow enough to maybe not allow Crimea to be militarily liberated.
