Hang on. I thought all the remainers said the EU will never compromise because the EU 27 are stronger than the UK? Tosh. The problem are the MPs in Westminster. HS2 is another example of Westminster spending 100bn for London. While the Midlands and the north suffer without representation.

@everready2903 I think you'll find the back stop will be removed. Besides I don't care about being right on political musings of the EU. I care about leaving. Both the CU and SM.

@reddleman2 more talking down remainer power games eh? Lol. I don't care how it's described, I want to leave. Preferably on a no deal. Leave the CU and SM. Let's just leave properly. If the EU want a border. They can build it.

@lellyparker how does the UK trade with China. You have trusted partners, certificates etc. It's called how the rest of the world trades.
2
@lellyparker you have not answered my question? I think you don't use logic. Just read the guardian and watch the BBC and follow the crowd. You seem to be very extreemist stating that you see no middle ground? You can tax the 'rich' all you like, fact is they can move money out of the UK in less than 60 seconds. The rich have promoted uncontrollable immigration to lower wages of the poor and you seem to support uncontrollable immigration open borders regardless of the impact on public services. The rich won't pay it because they control Westminster. It will be your tax that will pay it. It will be the working poor who will pay it. Corbyn talks a good talk. Remember when he says he will nationalise the trains? And water? Lol. You cannot do that under the EU. Labour wants to remain. Perhaps you are an elite. Who does not need to save pennies to buy a house. With uncontrollable immigration driving up prices ever higher. We voted to leave in 2016. To leave the EU, CU and SM. Why would you support an immigration policy that favours EU nationals above non EU nationals for example India and Africa?

What does everyone think about the ONS saying that uncontrollable immigration from the EU has been underestimated, and how does that enable a government to plan infrastructure?
1
@lellyparker nope. We trade with China on WTO. The EU has tariffs but not a deal. What's your opinion on the ONS saying EU immigration has been recorded at levels lower than the real numbers. How does this enable governments to plan infrastructure?
1
@lellyparker your being silly. Currently we trade with China. China is not in the EU. We have agreements on goods. We do not check every box that comes from China. As the UK and EU are do close at the moment, having an agreement would be easy if the EU want it to be easy. If the EU want thier political project to be more important then fine let the EU build the border. The EU does not check every box that comes from China on WTO either you know. It's simple trade. Besides if the EU want to play hardball that's fine too. The German car manufacturers can sell thier cars somewhere else if they want to. I wonder what would happen to unemployment levels in Germany? They are already working half shifts you know. The slow down has started.

@lellyparker my question on immigration was not about how you feel. It was about when the numbers are not counted properly how does that help the government make plans for schools and housing? Btw it's a fact the numbers are under recorded as the ONS released a report saying so. Try and answer my questions and let's see if there is a middle way.
1
@lellyparker your wrong. It's already been said by both labour and Tories that UK house prices have been increased by uncontrollable migration. As the ONS has stated that we don't know the real number of EU migrants in the UK how do you work out how many houses you need in the areas they are needed?
1
@lellyparker I never said that I want to stop immigration. I think s points based system would do wonders. Also yes I think UK citizens having children is a good thing. If we have 350k EU migrants a year plus 200k illegal migrants do you think we can build 500k houses a year (nice ones with a drive way)? We've never done that before in all of history. How many houses are needed?
