  1. Actually, I agree. Look how the UK was formed. The EU is essentially a very large earlier version of Great Britain. The rich states will effectively buy the poorer states out.

  2.  @hammer3721  England bought Scottish debt. That was how Great Britain was formed. Westminster just gives Scotland money, they don't have to pay it back.
