  1. My great uncle lived in rented private accommodation decades ago. He is dead now and fought against the Italians in ww2. He had a lifetime tenancy, he couldn't be evicted and a fixed rent of I belive £10 a month. The man also never had a bank account and was always paid in cash.

  2. I seem to remember that it was David Cameron and the conservatives that reformed the planning laws so developers could build on the green belt. Tory voters were not happy. Why do you think they are at risk of loosing seat in areas like Staffordshire and the South East?

  4. ​​​​ @LukeTPZ  he did live a good, stable life and managed to bring up 3 daughters. So from his point of view it was a good thing.
