@KinchasaurasRex we have record low intrest rates and we have printed billions during the pandemic. No is taking about the consequences of covid. We smashed up the supply chain and printed money to pay the bills. The inflation is just matching the money supply.

We became world leaders in other areas, video games, finance, entertainments, sports ect. The F1, all teams are based here. The Premiership, its world famous!! London is also a world leading city. We make the best video games and in recent times exported Harry Potter, Ed sheeran and Adele. We just dont compete in a conventional sense, but that was the whole point!!

@thedude9014 London is still culturally the world's most significant city. The premier league is still gaining abroad and terms of filming we are still very competitive. The low pound is the problem, people's disposal income is being spent on fuel (it is bought in Dollars) Boris also keeps putting up taxes.

@crewie94 apart from the USA and Japan the UK isn't far behind. All the best games are made here. Not actually true, they are high end industry which employ people with high salaries. They then generate tax revenues which goes into the public purse. The billions of pounds generated from the premiership has completely transformed parts of Manchester and the North West. Ed sheeran is an amazing man, he generates millions and pays his taxes. He single handed pays for a nhs hospital.

@crewie94 the UK economy is diverse, we have 5 million self employed, produce oil, gas, a car manufacturing base. We export financial services. A booming leisure industry and a world class agricultural sector. The diverse nature of economy is endless!!

@thedude9014 London was never a center for stocks and shares. That's New York job. What it lost was irrelevant. Its place is unique.

@kokomormon wealth is distributed better here than other European nations. We also have free healthcare. The average person owns more here.

@arisdavid8193 that's because we keep printing money. We have been on a never ending quest of "quantative easing" since the 2008 crash!! The muppets can't stop spending more than they earn

@tariqjoseph3562 the EU is ridiculous, no one understands it how it works. All the top EU jobs are unelected, they no incentive to do the right thing by me or my family!! I elected my mp, he represents me in parliament. End of debate.

@sigiriya5149 are you from the UK? If you are you were not smart enough to win the debate or strong willed enough to stop us from leaving.

@sigiriya5149 are politicians are accountable and we have a aggressive press. Riots in France, Germans storming their parliament and zero socialmobility. Greece being bullied and its democratic will ignored. Everything looks great doesn't it?

@KinchasaurasRex ...that's Scotland. It chose its regional government.

@sigiriya5149 Luckily you have the UK to protect you, Russia would be on the Ukrainan/polish border left to you guys.

@KinchasaurasRex The UK is ahead of India from a gdp point. But looking at NATO and recent events the actual western world order goes America 1st and Great Britain in 2nd!! Everyone else follows in line!!
