  1. Pockets of wealth seem to exist. In certain areas of Greater Manchester, housing is being sold for over £1 million. London too. Who on earth is buying them? The interesting thing is that if you go back 20 years, the wealth disparity never used to be this bad if you look at historic property prices on the Internet. And this gap between rich and poor areas just seems to be speeding up.

  3. It's a city with over 2000 years of history, which it appears no one seems to care about. London used to be a genuinely safe city only 20 years ago too. People look at it now with genuine sadness.
