What does a Nigerian understand about England?
25
Well William the conqueror invaded, decapitated the English ruling class, stole all the land and murdered half the population. No.

@ednadawson728 England is a 1500 year old country with a unique culture and way of life. We are not Nigerian. Politics is about tribes and people, and no one in the conservative party understands the people who they are supposedly here to represent.

@ednadawson728 You talk rubbish. Endless talk about the muslim vote at the last election. Hindus were collectively trying to influence government in their favour, and then we had BLM too. This all looks extremely tribal to me.

combating an inflation crisis by printing more money to fuel a further inflationary crisis. Are politicians are geniuses.

The same who encouraged the lockdowns and caused the inflationary crisis are now striking and moaning the loudest about the inflation crisis. You couldn't make this up.

@ednadawson728 My family have voted conservative for centuries. The last election was the first time i saw family members switch votes. They either listen or get wiped out by Reform. It's their choice.

@ednadawson728 Understanding the area matters. Understanding your voters matters. Back to my point, does a Nigerian understand the middle England shires?

@wolfiestreet6899 Who engineered the covid response? It was sunak and Boris. And did you listen to Starkey? The liberal leader is calling for a similar response to the cost of living crisis as the covid crisis. They caused the inflation by printing money and are now talking about printing more money.

I think it represents the different personality types. Some are more left, some are naturally more to the right. Parliament over time has automatically organised itself into the two opposing sides to represent these different view points.
