Doctor who, football focus, a question of sport, University challenge, the sky at night... The BBC are doing a Disney and burning to the ground all their old classics.

Our leaders are all from Asia. It makes sense they want people around that look like them.

My friend is a university lecturer. In the last few years they have kids making it onto university degree courses who are not smart enough to be there. The university pocket the cash, they are not smart enough to pass and the drop out rate in the first year is huge.

The issue with millennials are that they have been very slow to settle. Instead of marring young, combining resources and working towards a deposit. They've woken up in their mid 30s with zero investments, zero family, and 15 years of hard work with nothing to show for it! I think alot are panicking.

Absolutely no security. The landlord can kick you out whenever they want. Families with children are becoming homeless. Renting is a terrible situation in modern Britain l.
8
Everyone is short of money. Council, businesses and Universities. They can fill empty shops on the high street, Universities can charge foreign students more and businesses can pay imported labour less. It saves sourcing locally and their is an infinite source of cheap labour abroad.
6
It's crazy how much money has been wasted on this project. They are litterly building a single train line in a straight line!! We do everything half ar*sed in this country.
5
I know people who struggled to have kids in their 20s and ended up having IVF and people in their 40s who had no problem making 2 children. Each to their own.
5
Describing them as conservative is pushing it.
5
Parliament has no purpose. Everything is decided behind closed doors, by meaningless quangos, unelected committees or regional assemblies. War, lockdowns, food security, intrest rates. Parliament hasn't had a say in any of the above topics.
4
The majority of the left supported Brexit. Including Corbyn, the RMT union and Benn.
4
Blair was a continuation of Thatcher. Cammeron and Starmer are knockoffs Blair.
3
She was rubbish.
3
This all completely true!! My manager is a vegan who reads The Guardian. He told me a story of how he tried to entice a wild stag into his house, so he could pat it on the head. I just stared at him in disbelief!! The left also seem obsessed with attacking the food supply.
3
I've been doing some research and you can see why the English are so annoyed. In the 00s we had a labour government the majority of England didn't vote for, yet took most of the English seats. Scottish MPs got a vote on English laws which were devolved matters Scotland, we had uncontrolled immigration, we were giving 100s of billions of pounds to the EU and places Scotland with little gratitude. EU laws were being rubber stamped here without debate. A huge democratic deficite existed. And then to top it off a bunch of bankers ran off with all our tax money!! Now we have managed to wrestle back some control we just get accused of being racist.
3
Boomers were the post war generation. I suppose it was not difficult to make money when everything started out as rubble and the only way would have been up.
2
... George Orwell fought the facists in Spain during the 1930s. He was fighting for something he believed in and actually backed up his political posturing with actions!!
2
leftists just want a victim class they can exploit. If imigrants realised the society they live in is structured so they can get on in life and succeed then leftists as we describe them would cease to exist (Which is what happened in the 80s under Margaret Thatcher, millions of the working class climbed the social ladder. It led to the birth of new labour)
2
... and coincidentally, no one is talking about the failed Rwanda scheme.
2
Alot of young people can't afford the house prices in rural villages and the old people aren't giving up their houses.
2
It is mandatory here in the UK. A criminal conviction and a £2000 fine.
2
"They don't love the poor, they just hate the rich"
2
How does a modern bank run even work? All my high street banks are shut down, my bank transfers/payments are completed via an app and all my transactions are cashless.
2
I can't speak for Bedfordshire but they lost Tamworth because developers kept building all over the green belt and the mess regarding HS2. They are really mad.
2
@kizzagt no he didn't. He was not a fan of the EU
2
@kizzagt In the end Thatcher was against the EU. A dislike of the EU was actually something Corbyn and Thatcher had in common.
2
@Ellis-Tor Life is hard, and every choice offers risk. But talking as a millennial who didn't really wake up until his early 30s, marriage is 1 million times better than the alternatives.
2
I think its terrible when grownups place all their anxiety and stress onto their kids. Let them be kids.
2
i blame the marxists for depressing everyone. According to them, it is best not to start a family, dont try and buy a house, don't invest in your future, and don't find wider meanng in family. Just sit at home in the dark, be depressed and blame everyone else for your failure.

"The whole thing stinks of Nazis" South Park 2022

The majority of Wales are not woke. The majority are pro king, anti EU Brits. It was Drakeford who was mental. They are just very working class who are historically used to voting labour.
1
France is always burning itself to the ground, its on its 5th Republic in 200 years and has never been a stable country (meaning it collapses on average every 40 years).
1
Who did Boris technically represent? A muti millionaire, catholic, eatonian from Turkish decent born in the USA. I don't think people care. They still voted for Boris. A Catholic primeminister though? It would of been unthinkable just 20 years ago.
1
America is booming compared to Europe. They pay less environmental tax, have fracked extensively, providing cheap energy and bailed out the paris agreement.
1
Most sane women aren't actually that picky and most are married by 30.
1
....and sky news won't even use the word woman any more!!!
1
Honestly? A 2nd rate bunch of diversity hires.
1
Historically they've always been anti democratic. Their has has only been a short period after ww2 where they have tried to dabble in democracy.
1
really? Most market towns outside of the southeast have a cheap range of housing. You buy a small house in Shropshire for £80000 - £100000. For a first-time buyer, it's perfect.
1
no, he has lost two consecutive popular votes now. He is probably going to loose a third. Facts are Facts. The republicans should choose another candidate.
1
Stewart is right. We are potentially going to war with Russia. NATO needs support for our security, and Tucker giving a platform to Putin was just ridiculous.
1
@kirerunte1046 It's a hangover from the lockdowns. Why build something good when you can cheat and bring in a cheap limitless supplies of labour from abroad.
1
Do you understand the magnitude of what happened recently? A very small minority of muslims effectively took down the labour party? And they sense blood.
1
Someone should really tell Sam Smith he looks ridiculous.
1
France is having a bad time at the moment.. Mass riots, political and economic collapse, getting kicked out of Africa and asylum seekers are risking their lives by crossing the English channel so they can start a life in Great Britain.
1
....try and visit Blackpool.
1
If I quoted Shakespeares Henry the 5th, how would she react exactly? The answer is that she won't. "Once more into the breach....cry god for Harry, England and Saint George"
1
I tried to pay for an antibiotics subscription recently, and i was informed by the nurse that cash is dangerous.
1
Probably because he wasn't a fan left wing tweed wearing English socalists.
1
off topic slightly. But has any one seen the comedy scrubs from the early 00s? Their was a joke were Turk was the only black Doctor in the hospital so they had to feature him in every single piece of advertising for the hospital to try and make them look more ethnically diverse. They even copied and pasted him twice in the group photo on the hospitals prospectus. It was very funny and supposed to be a joke, but the joke has actually become reality.
1
Men evolved to hunt, and women evolved to find tins in the cupboard. Mens eyes are naturally closer together and are better at judging distances. Fact.
1
Dispite his haters Farage is a very popular well liked individual.
1
ah, i bet they wish they had Great Britains voting system now. In our system, you still get a choice, yet extremists parties are often silenced. Great Britain wins again.
1
State owned bankrupt banks! The idiots trying to push us towards a cashless society. These people are crazy!!
1
the first one was a brilliant film.
1
yes it has, Liss Truss and her front bench. Look at the consequences of that.
1
...George Orwell blamed them for the collapse of the British empire. Their pessimism and negativity demoralised everyone. It is happening again.
1
Our famous writers Shakespeare and William Blake. Our famous victories, the battle of Water Loo and The D Day landings. These very important pieces of our culture mean nothing to these people.
1
yes, we spent the majority of the last century fighting this nonsense and it has and just infiltrated intk society through the back door.
1
Starmer said on the weekend he will pass legislation for this!!
1
You can also thank Disney for a diabolical mess of Doctor who, too.
1
She was rubbish. Imigration was out of control. Everything she did was a failure.
1
@kizzagt Corbyn saw it as a undemocratic capitalist empire ran by the bankers. And concidering what happened to Greece, you cant really argue against his point.
1
@kizzagt “We have not successfully rolled back the frontiers of the state in Britain, only to see them re-imposed at a European level with a European super-state exercising a new dominance from Brussels,” she said in a 1988 speech in the Belgian city of Bruges
1
@kizzagt You are right, but over time, she changed her mind.
1
@kizzagt Corbyn hates the EU. He always has done. He is a democratic socialist not a communist. He believes in democracy.
1
@kizzagt What on earth are you going on about?
1
Great Britain used to make all the best games. Donkey kong country, Goldeneye, Grand theft auto, tomb raider. What happened?
1
....I am pretty sure this is what the communists did to Russia pre revolution.
1
no in Wales actually thinks like this. Drakeford is massively out if touch. They are a pro-british population who voted for Brexit.
1
@ankavoskuilen1725 We extended our childhood. But we had plenty of opportunities. Cheap uni fees, a housing market at the bottom of the cycle, help to buy schemes and help to buy ISAs. Honestly, buying a property was perfectly feasible!!
1
@Ellis-Tor ...if you had used the help to buy scheme as a millennial in the 2010s and bought a house worth £120 000 you would have made over £100 000 profit today!!
1
@LizThomas-dp7sr I spent barely anything on education or health care. I went to a comprehensive and use the NHS. My uni fees were only £1250 a year. The house i live in has a mortgage. But it was bought with a small deposit and help to buy in the early 2010s. It has increased in value by £150 000. I am virtually mortgage free. I am a millennial.
1
It was announced recently that the UK was 4th in a global innovation index, and it also has a growing economy. The UK has reconfigured its trade towards Asian and signed new weapons agreements with reliable partners like Australia and America. Germany in comparison is in recession, it demographics are collapsing, its over reliance on totalitarian Russian gas and Chinese exports has disappeared destroying its heavy industry reliant economy, Germanys government is unable to do anything due to its voting system and the far right is on the rise.
1
Who the hec won the cold War? How has this even happened?
1
The further "right" labour go, the higher they climb in the polls. The right wing of politics in this country always wins.
1
far right in Manchester? Do the creators of Coronation Street remember the recent bombings?
1
Its strange watching middle class kids. They have started spouting the same "f**k Thatcher" rhetoric from working class coal miners ftom the 1980s. I dont understand what is going on.
