It's always amusing when i see London mayor Sadiq Khan or muslims wearing Englands football top. The three lions are King Richards' coat of arms, the English king who led the crusades against them.

@dominiquesimoes9609 .. He wasn't French. He was decended from the Normans. A group of Vikings who had settled in Northern France in the 9th century. I'm not wrong, Richard was king of England. He led the crusades and the three lions is he coat of arms.

@dominiquesimoes9609 Anyway, the French invaded Normandy and took the territory back in 1204 (If the French are having to invade, then it certainly sounds like a separate political entity). It was King John who lost it. And we've been stuck with this French/Norman articrocracy ever since.
