  1. This policy needs to be very carefully thought through. There is already a shortage of rental properties in the market. More regulation will force more landlords to sell up, making prices and supply worse.

  2. ​​ @davidmcculloch8490 1)Good properties sell very quickly. 2) If they don't want to sell, they'll just convert it to an air B and B 3) Why would anyone enter become a landlord if they have no incentive to be one.
