  1. They have a point. My grandads generation moved into the town or retirement home and gave young people a chance in the 70s and 80s. But nowadays, villages are dying because old people refuse to move out. My old school is virtually finished because there are no young people in the village having children. Businesses are suffering, too, and local farms are being ruined because the older generation is refusing to let go.
