wrong again, crops this year have harvested well. Growing and harvest conditions have been good. Boris's environmental policies are causing farming to plant less food, it will be more economically viable to plant trees and wild flower than grow crops.

@edwardbernthal160 crops have grown well. I talk to farmers alot, they're very happy.

@justmythought7658 the issue is the farming subsidies. Their is no direction and appears to be moving away from food production towards environmental policies.

@edwardbernthal160 Wheat, milk spuds!! Businesses are doing okay. Farmers are not in a bad spot. Things have been alot worse, typically when we were in the EU and the market was being continually flooded!! No one cared then.

@edwardbernthal160 drying grain is normal. Prices straight across the farming commodity sector have been very good since vote leave in 2016. I would argue leaving saved alot of farm businesses.

@edwardbernthal160 Yes I understand the issues facing the dairy sector. The farmers will still get paid. Put like this in 2016 milk prices were 13p per liter before Brexit. Now they are closer to 30p. That is all thanks to Brexit.

@edwardbernthal160 Im not just reading im talking to people, understand the actual reality and feeding back what they say. Harvests have been good and grain prices are good. Oil seed rape has been a disaster but that is because the EU banned the technology needed to grow it before 2021.

@edwardbernthal160 Yes its been wet, but dispite the challenges things ended well.

@edwardbernthal160 Most of the grain is produced in the south, the North of England is hardly known for its grain growing capabilities.

how can you know this? Crops are barely in the ground yet.
