@geraldhewing2076 I am aware of that, I find Corbyns treatment despicable. I liked Corbyn. I also think Starmer changing the labour party voting rules to gain a strangle hold on the party equally as despicable.

no, it will probably help to consolidate it. PR will stop labour attempting to game the system.

unless you were hard left nutters like Jeremy Corbyn or Hilary Benn. Or Labour in the 80s or early 90s..

@casperwallace9685 Corbyn is still on the back benches and Tony Benn only recently passed away!! He never liked the EU.

@casperwallace9685 In what sense? Boris is not right wing, based on his environmental policies, spending habits and attitude to the union he is more of social democrate.
1
@colinsixhitter3303 the ELMS scheme? His commitment to net zero and renewables? None of these things ring a bell?? He is certainly not a Thatcherite!! Why do you think his party are so mad at him?

@geraldhewing2076 Please explain how? A very popular guy (who consistently gained more votes than Blair) who dedicated his whole life to democratic socialism and the labour party. He was treated like dirt and ostracised. Its is terrible. I don't forget things like that!! If that's what is to come from the likes of Starmer and Raymer I would sooner vote for Boris!

Johnson is certainly not right, based on his spending habits he is more of a luke warm social democrate.

@catherinemontgomery7130 Johnsons has always been a big spender, money used to go missing all the time on none existing projects when he was London Major. No one ever brings that up....
1
@baronvonlimbourgh1716 he really isn't.
1
@baronvonlimbourgh1716 Thatcher and Major reduced government debt to 30% of GDP. Boris has singlehandedly increased debt closer to 100% of GDP and it doesn't look like he is stopping.

@baronvonlimbourgh1716 ...are we counting the Blair years as a conservative government?
