  1. It was a reality in communist Russia. A single party state, child spies, everything is rubbish because no market mechanism exists to tell society what needs to be produced, gulags and mass political purges. This wasn't fiction. It really happened.

Disenchanted working class men with no identity or sense of belonging, organised into large secretive groups who are looking to start a fight and mayhem while causing massive political and social instability. Sounds like English football hooliganism in the 70s and 80s. Fight club wasn't fiction, it can really happen.
