Thatcher reformed the economy, controlled inflation, tamed nation debt, took on the IRA, won the Faulklands war, made everyone richer, took out middle eastern terrorists and tamed the unions. Everything she did set up the 10 years of prosperity that Blair enjoyed that also allowed record spending on our public services.
