  1. In 2001, annual tutition fees were only £1200. It was affordable. VAT was only 17.5%, too.

  2. ​ @thomasj5083 My work colleague is a young girl. I think she is paying roughly 45% of her income on tax if you take into account student loans. It is massively unfair.
