@albinoboy5312 ...do you understand how our system works? We technically don't vote for a party or a primeminister. We vote for the individual who represents our seat. But in reality people do vote for a leader 1st and a party 2nd, parties that replace leaders mid term typically don't win at the next election.

@chazzerbox131 Okay yes, huge differences exists in powers. BUT in a national election the leader plays a huge role who you will vote for. So we do vote for a leader. It is not normal the way the conservatives party have acted to replace two party leaders in a such a short space of time.

Brexit happened. Boris won his election and is still popular. The conservatives won a 80 seat majority. Thats reality.

@chazzerbox131 our system is remarkably similar to the USA. Two separate houses. Two parties The most points wins. They get a president while we get a primeminister.

@TheyCantAllBeTaken our system is remarkably similar to the USA. Two separate houses. Two parties. The most points wins. They get a president while we get a primeminister. Since Thatcher our primeminister has effectively been a president (we also both have first past the post voting)

@albinoboy5312 he American system was based on our system. Are system is confusing. It is a two party system, their no point voting for anyone else apart from Tory or Labour. No one else will ever get elected. And people do vote for a leader, that's a fact. No matter what you pretend. Typically voters do not like it when they change mid term.

@albinoboy5312 we don't have a party system if you want to get technical. We elect an MP, not a party. Political parties are merely a side effect, mps just decided to form themselves into groups. Otherwise nothing would ever pass through parliament.

@albinoboy5312 ....and none of this is written down. Everything we do just sort of happens.

@Crazy5exycurvy no matter what you say the public voted for Boris. He offered clear direction on Brexit and that's what people responded to. When ever a party change leader mid term they rarely get back in.

@ericaceous1652 ...you don't understand our system we technically don't vote for a party we vote for a individual. Political parties are just a side effect, other wise nothing would get done. And The king can choose who ever he wants to be primeminister, it just so happens to be the leader of the biggest party.

The utter arrogance. Why do you think you are right and the majority of UK constituencies are wrong? It's pathetic.
