But in reality people do vote for a leader 1st and a party 2nd, parties that replace leaders mid term typically don't win at the next election.

  2. ​ @chazzerbox131 Okay yes, huge differences exists in powers. BUT in a national election the leader plays a huge role who you will vote for. So we do vote for a leader. It is not normal the way the conservatives party have acted to replace two party leaders in a such a short space of time.

No one else will ever get elected. And people do vote for a leader, that's a fact. No matter what you pretend. Typically voters do not like it when they change mid term.
