Hey Forrest, as another person responded to you gold does not have a cash flow so it does not have an intrinsic value. You are very arrogant and if you knew a thing or two about finance you would understand the distinction between pricing and valuation. Gold has no cashflows so all you can do is guess, or price, the asset based on expected supply and demand which leads to being a trader rather than a value investor. Not too difficult to understand. Lastly, all major countries use fiat money and have a centralized bank. Deal with it or move to the jungle and live with the monkeys.
