Maybe he just felt the beads while seating across from Neimann.

I served in the US Marines and this makes me sick to my stomach. Every soldier wants to win the war but attacking fleeing civilians is disgusting. Soldiers who kill civilians for fun are sick individuals and shouldn't be serving in the military.

This woman's eyes are going to pop out of her head.
184
Really? Do you think the most successful people in the world are jack of all trades or experts a one or two things?
160
Got to love western paranoia! Americans think that only the US should have military superiority around their own country borders.
156
I feel insulted as an amateur.
149
Sounds to me like the "great resignation" was just a ploy for tech companies to go on hiring sprees to meet short term demand then turn around and fire those new hires as soon as demand subsided.
104
Exactly! What a dirtbag.

Looks awesome! But I think the future of holograms isn't inside a box.
71
@ozymandiasnullifidian5590 . The Marines and the Army are two different things. Keep trying.
40
Def not cute. But delusional, yes.
39
I really feel that Baldwin should be charged in a civil court while the armorer should be charged in a criminal court. As an actor, Baldwin's only focus would have been playing out his role. It can't be easy getting in and out of character which is why the armorer is there.
35
Amazing documentary! I never really understood the supply chain logistics until now. Thanks!
32
Brilliant young lady!
31
Good! Don't give them a dime over MSRP.
30
@tianlechen . The entire video is fluff.
25
Not WSJ. That's for sure.
23
People are trying to survive a warzone while Americans are worried about their latest shipment or garbage they don't need. Clueless as always. Nothing new.
20
Much respect to this man! Slava Ukraini!!
20
@koshobai . She's young and its unlikely that she ever managed a business. Why would WSJ choose a kid to provide business analysis of a multi billion firm? Its baffling. Especially when you consider SNAP isn't the only overhyped stock taking a bloodbath this year?
17
@robanson32 . I hope you're not American making such a sly comment while the US banking system collapses.
17
I vote for that!
17
"Lock him up!"
12
That's harsh. I think a lot of people are experiencing a rude awakening. So much for the decentralized blockchain bs.
11
Blunt but very honest. I'm a huge fan of Agad's channel and I read the article before Agad posted the video. I was dumbfounded that someone could be so arrogant to think they could pose any challenge to the world champ. I know exactly all the things you mentioned in your comment yet I'm only an intermediate player. I know very well I need a lot more than a month to get near grandmaster level and much less world champ level if its possible at all. Max is an embarrassment to anyone who has played chess for any period of time and has made effort to improve. What's sad is that many people eat this up like he is some kind of genius when in reality he is delusional and no smarter than the average person.
11
Yeah, nothing like someone who never managed a business providing business analysis of a multi billion dollar firm. LOL
10
Diversification is for idiots! Hahaha
9
@willsjaime . Like I said. Civil charges for Baldwin. Not criminal unless the court can prove intent or negligence. The armorer is solely to blame in my opinion.

Looks amazing! But I don't know why employers need to "trust" their employees to do their job. Aren't employees accountable for their work? How does working from home remove accountability? It seems that even companies like LinkedIn can't come to terms with the fact that employees who work from their laptops can do their work from anywhere in the world as long as they can connect to internet. I personally need two monitors for my work but working from home is actually more productive for me because I have more time in my day and I don't have to leave my home to eat healthy food (I make/cook my own food). The time savings during my workdays are enough for me to stay with my current employer even though I could easily find work elsewhere and potentially make more these days. The day my employer forces me to commute to the office everyday to do the same thing I do now is the day I look for work elsewhere.

Not all consumers are dumb.

@theman44ful . Clueless!

I disagree with point #3. Rising the fed funds rate can cause a recession. Rich people (more specifically, the wealthy) already cashed out of the stock market late last year or early this year. The wealthy understand all of this and they knew the stock market was propped up by excessive government stimulus (most of which went to corporate America). Bonds are getting decimated this year as well. The wealthy will sit on the sidelines and scoop up hard assets like real estate as prices come crashing down. In the end, the middle class will continue to shrink while the wealthy get wealthier.

Finally, a WSJ video of some quality. I get that WSJ is trying to appeal to the masses but at least we got some value out of this video. Now, let's try stepping it up another notch.

Here we go! Buckle up!

Lots of bots. Youtube needs to do something about this.

@ Mozart 13, no he would not. In fact, I doubt (assuming he barely knows chess rules) that he would beat your average club player 1600-1800 after a month. Also, people keep throwing around the word algorithm like it makes Max smarter. An algorithm is only a set of instructions. If Max does not play chess well how can he possibly program an algorithm? Oh... he can copy free code online and make minor tweaks. Many people know how to code and its not impressive. I can code in various languages as well but the challenge here is to learn chess - not coding. At any rate, does he seriously expect to make a stronger program stronger than Stockfish, Komodo, and such? Seems to me Max failed miserably at both prioritizing and learning chess. All he managed to do was learn 8 moves of the Ruy Lopez line then blunder nearly every move after that. As I said before, he should have hired a coach instead. There are no shortcuts to learning. Get used to it. https://medium.freecodecamp.org/simple-chess-ai-step-by-step-1d55a9266977

Keep defending a criminal and a traitor.

Putin will pay!!

@ Nabium, there are simply too many possibilities in chess to memorize each position. Why do you think that till this day chess is an unsolved game? All the computer power thrown at the game so far has been unsuccessful at cracking the game. What makes you think some goofy algorithm from some nobody's laptop is going to help him learn more about the game than existing software as someone already mentioned? The only way Max can win against a grandmaster is to learn to calculate deep tactical maneuvers and game theory. Its said that on average it takes 10 years to become a grandmaster in chess. Yet Max wants to play at that level in just one month.
6
I think its comical yet disrespectful to label Carlsen as simply a grandmaster as many consider him the best player in the history of the game. Carlsen would demolish your average grandmaster. Max has zero chance of defeating any grandmaster. This entire challenge seems more like a publicity challenge for Max than a chess challenge.

@thekingoflordagames3517 . Twitter goes first. Then Space X and Tesla last.

FU!

Trump thinks Putin is "genius!"
5
Keep laughing you clown!
5
Horrifying! Its a shame humans spend so much time and effort trying to kill each other. I hope you find peace and a better future. Cheers!

You can do it. I spent 20 years working retail (started as a teenager). I went back to school and quit my retail management job. Did it hurt financially for a while? Yes. But years later I now work from home everyday. I haven't been to the office since pre-pandemic and my career options are much better. I started going to school part time after work. I took online courses. If you have an internet connection you can do it.
5
Exactly!!
5
@theman44ful . And you're clueless!
