@lightningandodinify . Ads are designed to encourage consumerism. I'm not interested.

@zoonade2171 . Common sense.

He has 1+ million yt subs. He probably doesn't appreciate randoms disrupting his day to chat over free coffee.

@saddamhussein8489 . Because people with public profiles and their time should be respected. Imagine just 1% of his subs and viewers go knocking on his door to have coffee chats? How could he tell which of them are crazy and which aren't? Think!!
7
@doncorleon9 . Rossmann is already dealing with one crazy who flew 1000+ miles to harass his girlfriend at a public meet up. Do you seriously think he's going to open his door to meet more strangers face to face for one to one coffee chats? Again people. Use the grey matter between your ears. Rossmann doesn't walk around with a security team nor does he need to be dealing with more potential crazies. Being a sub doesn't entitle us to have personal meetings with the guy.

I bought a new Acura last year. No EV, no hybrid, and no subscriptions. I couldn't be happier.

I think you're looking at this entirely the wrong way. You're conflating financial success with personal drive while the biggest factor that determines financial success is social status. People born into middle and upper middle class have a much higher chance at financial success than poor people? Why? Because they have access to opportunities and capital which poor people don't. But to your point, many jobs require college degrees. Unless you separate jobs that require degrees from those that don't then you can't perform meaningful analysis comparing life expected earnings between college grads and non-college grads. You sir, as a business owner, are an exception - not the rule. Besides, you dodged the elephant in the room and the topic of the article to focus on a side topic. The issue at stake here is why are men lagging women in college and you refused to address it.

I had the unfortunate experience of having to pay astronomical prices for textbook and website accounts as a business student. Its a rather disgusting practice by reputable colleges to force students into all kinds of debt and expenses for something that mostly hasn't changed in decades or longer. I got my degree three years ago but the amount of debt I accumulated make me question my decision. Luckily, I work in finance (same as my degree) and pay in my field tends to be above average. At any rate, I'll be paying off student loan debt for years to come.

@Shimmy Shai . Life is complex no doubt. I dislike the oversimplification by people who lucked out in life. These people would have you believe that we could all be walking around as millionares in a world where prices are fixed - wrong. If suddenly the median income doubled then inflation would follow because resources are scarce regardless of how much money we have.
2
@Shimmy Shai . I agree with all of that. You should also add education as a right and not a privilege as many people would have us believe. The difference between a 1st world county and a 3rd world country is education. Getting a college degree shouldn't bankrupt us. Wanting to learn new skills and to be a productive member or society shouldn't be looked at as a privilege in a society.

I love this chick! She got her mind made up and there is no changing it! hahaha

You can now create disposable credit card numbers through some CC companies like Capital One. I can create as many as I want and cancel them whenever I want.

Greedy sobs! I haven't used my inkjet in years. I'm about to throw it in the trash and never look back.

What a disgrace!

You're absolutely right.

One correction: 4:07 A laser printer doesn't use ink. They use powder.

Corporate American has gotten way out of control. Apple recently announced that they would release the new iphone with usb-c but ONLY after the EU said they would ban any phones without usb-c connections. Our government should be working for us. Not for the greedy vultures running multi-billion dollar companies.

Its sad how expensive and sometimes "mindnumbing" (as you put it) the experience has become. The problem is that if you quit without your degree you still have the debt. You should do some hard thinking about what kind of career you want and work very hard to get there to justify the time and money spent in college.

What a disgrace!

@JasonKaler . Losing billions of viewers is never a good thing for a social media platform. That's just asking for trouble in free market economies.

I knew this 15+ years ago when they started selling ink subscriptions. I used to work for OfficeMax before they became Office Depot. I could smell the snake oil a mile away.

I don't have an issue with paying youtube for ad-free content but I'm not going to pay $15 per month or whatever it is they're charging. Yoube is not worth more than $5 per month in my opinion. I bet many people would be willing to pay this amount to continue using youtube ad-free. Otherwise, I'd be happy to find other means of entertainment. I already pay for Netflix and I probably should spend more time outdoors anyway.

I'm a car enthusiast and I saw the tail light video before I saw yours. We're getting buried by Corporate America. Its a disgrace!
