Exactly my point. All my friends who overpaid and bought are shocked at the property taxes. Insurance taxes together is almost equal to our rent. Yes the house is bigger but why does a 4 ppl household need 5 bed room 4000 sqft house? So many are having buyers remorse and not happy at all In the McMansions. Only ppl who bought before 2020 are happy as they paid much lower prices and refinanced to 2.5-3% rates. Only they are the winners

@jeffersonjohns6397 I myself lost my job for few months. Thank god I didn’t have 5000$ mortgage. Not everyone enters the sane phase in life at the same time. I moved not just states but country too. Everyone has different circumstances. But buying house is not the only way to get rich though it’s a sure fire way now to shackle yourself for the next 30 years with a gargantuan mortgage. The ripple effect has just started.

Nope they are being called back to California in person to work. Things are shifting. They have to either settle for lower paying jobs or move to California if they want to keep those high salaries

@AJ-ox8xy lol you are delusional. Population in US is decreasing rapidly. Without immigration there would be total collapse. But Biden is on another tangent allowing illegal n immigrants. You need proper sustainable immigration as folks these days are neither marrying nor having kids like before
