  1. I am on the ID.4 side, which is a better family car, and lower cost. The Tesla is a better (tire shredding) machine. If I was in my 30’s, the Tesla will be more attractive, despite its manufacturing issues. But I am not, so it is not. The tax credit, and the free charging for three years tighter amount to $200/ month over the first 5 years. That’s what made me pick the ID.4. Don’t enjoy the bickering. But do like the pros, cons, and strong opinions.
