  8. How was that cartoon racist? Is any joke involving other people, if they happen to be of a different race automatically “racist”? The cartoon didn’t create a negative reality, nor did it imply genetic or endemic inferiority, and nor does that cartoon lead to a worse future for Indian peoples. It was merely a cartoon. If Hindus making Sikh jokes, Tams cracking Mallu jokes, Punjabis laughing at “Bhaiya” culture, etc., is not racist, even though that is the more mean spirited, then this is definitely NOT racist. You mayn’t like it, and I can agree that the humor is in poor taste. But it is not racist.
