Thank you so much for this video I've waited for it so long! You nailed it, as always. Much love from Bulgaria ❤ Fun fact: Todor Zhivkov once famously said on the opening of semiconductors plant: "this year a semiconductor plant, next year for whole condcutors" 😂 (I don't know if it makes sense on English as translation is hard)

You nailed the name, it comes from my hometown Plovdiv in which they was produced

Because almost all of those people emigrated to the west after the collapse of USSR, sadly, where they had a chance to actually invent stuff and not waste that much time dealing with the very corrupt politics

@PhredMacmurray nailed it

Well, imagine if more abstract names are being used...it will get really confusing really quick ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Hypern0va Your comment is so badly detached from the objective reality. The word "solid" has nothing to do with iphones neither on software/hardware side, let alone on build quality or durabilty. Not to mention value for money ratio. And clearly the thing about support is a joke, especially given state of old apple hardware, that runs perfectly fine until that one os update comes for example or the prices of licensed repair shops/parts.

The best channel on youtube, hands down. I deeply appreciate the absence of ads and "paid promotions"! Thank you Jon, for all hard work, you're wonderful human being! Wish you a good health and all the best ❤ On the topic, I recently visited the Dospat–Vacha Hydroelectric Cascade which has capacity of ~500 MW and is a quite engineering feat
