I have a 2017 kia sorento V6 AWD with 290 hp 6 speed auto that does 0-60 in 6.9s. 8.3 for the 265hp phev is a bit disappointing the 2.5T 280hp does 0-60 in 7.4s I think I would still rather drive the turbo version or the plug-in hybrid because the V6 is not torquey at all and rather slugish in eco mode, and less efficient. it really needs rpms to move and feels much slower than my 8s 111hp fiat 500e in daily driving. the other advantage of the old V6 is towing, but I'm not using it. I'm a bit disappointed that the new turbo engines with more torque and 8 speed DCT is not quicker, but I think in real life it will have better throttle response, torque, and quicker transmission the V6 is sluggish in eco mode and drinks more fuel in normal or sport, even when you are driving smoothly.
