  1. well this is the best engineering. makes sense although accounting for inevitable random factor, the car could very well fall to pieces right before the finish line on the next race. but here we're not talking about engineering to get the best performance but the opposite. force performance degradation by some rules. sounds like having tires that could last a whole race would not make it much slower and could allow more strategies. plus making engineering work towards improving tires instead of artificially reducing longevity. right now electric racing class sound more exciting regarding to the real-life improvements they could eventually bring
