@Leer280 talking about motorcyles, if you except young riders with limited displacement, in rich western countries where motorcycle is more often a hobby/lifestyle than a practical transportation, almost are motorcycles are 500-1500cc, but mostly > 600cc 4cyl or 650 cyl most experienced riders like to have 1000cc or more, or lets say at least 100hp. truth is that any cc will happily overtake anything doing legal speed without breaking a sweat, and additional power will mostly add risks rather than reduce it. Of course, in the end, it's how you ride that will create or minimize risks
