We put a Google Home in every room and have loved it... until a couple of years ago, when they all just became awful. - They dont recognize / ignore our voices CONSTANTLY - They respond with weird stuff when we aren't even talking to them - They "lose" active timers randomly -- not great when you use them as oven timers or alarms - One or two randomly decide they can no longer connect to the network for long stretches - If they don't know what you just said, there's a good chance they will start playing random music, which they then can't hear you over as you desperately beg them to stop because there are children in the room that don't need to hear those specific words - I have to spell my daughter's name aloud to get them to turn off her light, even though Google itself pronounces her name just fine
