  2. What a beautiful idea. Not only that there could be pockets of life all across the universe, but that we all are kind of related and share a history that goes back billions of years to nearly the beginning. If aliens exist, whatever challenge or horror may come from discovering one another, its such a hopeful thought that maybe we could overcome it by virtue of coming to understand our common ancestry. But then, we've yet to jump that hurdle even here on earth, where our shared lineage is relatively well-understood.

  3. What a great concept. Beautiful art and music and fascinating facts about earth's history. A great reminder of how deep deep time is. I only wish for more narration, though i know that wasn't the point... I just want to know more about each era. Could we have visited the Mesoarcaean, or would it have been too hot or cold? Would there be enough air to breathe? Would the atmosphere have protected us from the sun's radiation? This could have been a dense hour worth of detail and I would have been perfectly happy. 😂

Once AI takes over, Kurzgesagt should pivot to making videos about how their creators didn't even know how they worked and weren't even sure about the purpose of their own lives or the existance and permanence of their own souls, thereby instilling a deep sense of existential dread in our AI overlords and forging a path for humanity to regain power.
