  3. Police exist to enforce laws, they are not there to "serve and protect". Be honest with them, but don't incriminate yourself. If they come to the door and want in, demand a warrant. It is your right to get a lawyer, always. Police also face threats at a simple traffic stop, do not give them any reason to feel threatened. If pulled over, keep your hands on the wheel and don't do anything unless told to do so. The jist, I mean if was decades ago.

  5. You have a right to answer your door with a firearm. Cop was at the wrong door even. I wouldn't have opened and would need confirmation it was the police.
