  9.  treydarling  those are two separate ideas which are only connected by the right to defend ourselves and our country. You don't understand a simple phrase. Language has changed, yes, some people now don't know that the usage of regulated meant "practiced". They had well regulated fire brigades then, that doesn't mean someone was limiting the size of their water buckets. In what world does it make sense that the founding fathers are boxing themselves in to just protecting militia when they're writing a document to ensure their freedom from oppressive governments?
