  1. We shouldn't have left as we did. No, we never should have gone, but Obama showed poor planning and leadership when he pulled us out. That country had nothing in the way of stable leadership and it was stupid to just leave

  3.  @SirBlueWhale  after Obama once again showed weakness and halfway meddled in what was going on there but was too weak to enforce a red line he never should have out out there? Yes, that sort of thing is NATO's business, especially when it comes to Turkey. The parallels aren't really there. They have a leader and an actual country, Iraq was nothing but stuff we built and different warring groups. The parallels are more akin to Japan or Germany after WW2. We didn't leave those places right away after we destroyed every bit of them. To do so would have been stupid and caused more problems, as leaving Iraq did.
