@Hao-fp9mt you're missing some stuff from your timeline. Before locking things down, they arrested people who brought attention to the sickness, people like doctors. Before shutting down travel, they hid their knowledge of it, to not disturb their economy before new year celebrations. China doing what China does, propaganda style misinformation and denial of failure, they spread the virus around the world.
And still, now, they lie. No one believes their figures, especially their claims on a lack of new cases. There's a reason why they expelled media.
There are many websites that suggest the virus originated not in a wet market, but from a nearby biological facility. Either way, the WHO and China have been less than honest all through this process.
And bud, it's you who needs to look into AIDS. The first known cases were in fact discovered in the United States, yes. The virus was very quickly and easily traced back to Africa. This isn't hard to find information.
