  6. They aren't really interested in fixing it, at least not in a way that isn't just massive amnesty. As is, they like to have it as a topic they can attack Republicans with, forget that they've been in power multiple times over the decades and haven't solved it. Democrats(and often Republicans) are just playing the masses and don't care, it's almost always a ploy for control.
