OperationIZ nothing is free. Those countries who have socialize medicine don't pay for their national defense. We paid for it.. think about that one. Your taxes pay for our military to be present in countries like Greece, Germany and others so they can be safe. We pay for Medicaid, Chip and other social programs. Americans love choice. If you don't like it, apply for. Welfare.

Obamacare is a scam. I checked into it when we got laid off. They wrote you an affordable rate. Sign you up. Then after 3 months, you get a letter saying your premium has changed! I'm 58. The premium Blue Cross offered is 28k per year!! I asked why so much..? Too many middle men want a piece of the pie! It was cheaper to Pay the penalty. Over 8 Million americans paid the penalty. Do the math! I also found out that there are cheaper avenue to follow for Medical. My doctor said that I'd get a 55% discount if I paid cash. Apparently, the cost for office us more if you carry insurance! Another thing he recommended was genscripts pharmacy. They don't take insurance. The same reflux med at Walgreens was quoted at $650.00! Genscripts pharmacy quoted me $25.86! Same script! I asked Walgreens why so high...they said insurance costs! So it's a scam!

OperationIZ my appendix ruptured while visiting Greece while waiting in emergency room. Say again. My dad paid under the table just for a doctor to see me. Never again..socialize medicine is death.

OperationIZ look at the amts countries pay into NATO! The only reason why some have social health Care is because more of their taxes go towards it via national defense. Ever wonder why we don't see other nation military in our country?! By the way we do have socialize medicine...it's called Medicaid, chip. We also have food stamps and welfare.. Do not count Medicare or social security. Those are trusts not entitlement. You have to earn those via work.

OperationIZ fyi. We got laid off in July. No insurance. Cobra was too expensive. I contacted the Obamacare exchange. Got bombarded with calls. Here's my experience: I got quoted a decent affordable premium. In September I got a letter telling me my premium was to increase. Blue Cross quoted $28k per year with 14500 ded..no lie! I'm 58. I killed the policy. My doc said he'd give me a 55% discount if I paid cash. He also suggested genscript a pharmacy that takes no insurance. I call Walgreens for the cost of a reflux script. They quoted. $650.00! The same exact script at genscripts is $26.85! I asked Walgreens why so much. Answer insurance costs. The problem with socialize med is too many middle men want a piece of pie..plus, you get crappy service because the government takes forever to pay.

OperationIZ Germany and France are on the NATO hot list of countries that don't meet NATO is obligation! They don't pay. Watch their health system in a couple of years when they are forced to pay their fair share.

Do you know why many Doctors and hospitals don't take medicare or medicaid patients? I've known many doctors groups who have taken 5 year loans out just to make their payroll because government takes forever to pay that's why. Doctors and nurses need to get paid as hospitals. We have the finest medical in the world. It's one reason why people from abroad come to the US for treatment. Mayo clinic, John Hopkins, Cleveland Clinic, etc. etc. We are NUMBER 1 when it comes to quality of care.
