  1. FYI: Obama did the same thing in 2011 remember. Payroll pause. on avg people got 1000 bucks for year. Social security is a trust. It's a failed trust because of birth control. There aren't enough mellenials to support the boomers hence the creation of 401k. In 2034 social security will be gone. It's best to save money for yourself vs allowing government to be fiduciary. The cash will be taken out of general fund. Note word fund not trust. The fund encompasses a lot. Pelosi field trip adventures are covered from the fund is just an example. Government employees won't get raises. Too bad.

  3.  @charliefi3129  errr no. Rather than giving a lump sum payment...a pause is the smarter Alternative. Trump knows this. Objective is to get people out working. The pause carries a better incentive to work vs staying home and collecting unemployment. It also stimulates economy. The more money people have, the more they spend.
